AFG markets a variety of specialized insurance programs on a wholesale basis through retail brokers and agents, covering particular requirements such as restaurant packages, property insurance, homeowners insurance, and excess casualty, including professional. AFG Insurance Agency (AFG Partners) was formed in 1992 to manage an existing wholesale operation founded in 1975. As such, some our relationships date for longer than 20 years. As an independent wholesaler, who acts as a link between retail insurance brokers and the insurance companies, we are able to locate a market for those difficult to place accounts. In addition, we create and/or place risk purchasing groups for homogeneous classes of business at competitive rates & terms. We also access some of the those groups for other retail brokers who have clients which fit the criteria for these groups and help the groups to grow.
